Job Summary
The HRIS and Payroll Specialist is detail oriented and driven to contribute to the Company’s growth and success by serving as a functional lead for all payroll and HRIS related matters. This position is responsible for being a content expert in UKG, manage payroll and time entry related processes for Nassau employees and its affiliates and consistently analyze current processes and determine appropriate ways of improving efficiencies through HRIS solutions and workflows. This position must ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of all related payroll functions. Reconcile payroll closing and manages payroll funding. Works with UKG to resolve day-to-day issues for payroll and time entries. Manages time and attendance module, ensuring that attendance and overtime is properly recorded and paid.
Acts as liaison with state, local and federal agencies as needed. Ensures timely and accurate reporting to state or local agencies for filings not handled by UKG. Works with UKG regarding tax inquiries and filing requirements.

The base salary for this position falls within Nassau’s salary band D: $75,000-$85,000.
