As an Accounting Specialist, you will perform a wide range of general accounting support functions. This position will assist the shared services accounting department
by processing accounts payable, reconciling statements, processing credit card transactions, customer payment application and supporting general day to day
accounting functions.
 
What You’ll Do…

 Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
 Respond to customer, vendor and employee inquiries promptly and
professionally
 Match, reconcile and post invoices against purchase
orders/requisitions/packing slips
 Works with Sales and other applicable departments to resolve invoice
discrepancies
 Assist departments with invoice approval, entry, and follow up
 Assist customers and internal departments with service billing questions
 Perform weekly reporting of accounts receivable
 Apply payments received from customers to their account
 Work with invoicing team on any payment application questions
 Maintain documented payables policies and procedures
 Recommend and implement processes, procedures, and efficiencies
 Communicate and escalate issues as appropriate
 Special projects and other accounting related duties as requested

 Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company
safety policies
 Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position
at any time

What You Need…
 Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent from two-year or technical school; OR 5 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent
combination of education and experience preferred but not required
 Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new methods, processes, and system changes
 Exceptional attention to detail
 Highly organized
 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
 Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills
 Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
 Experience with NetSuite preferred
