Technical Product Owner
Location: Remote CST

8-10 years of strong experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner, specifically working in Telco/Satellite clients like DirectTV
Should have a strong domain experience in Billing & Payment area, specifically in Content Payment system, Supplier Management System, Invoicing tools like Media Maestro, etc
Good technical knowledge or understanding of AWS Big Data Architecture, MicroStrategy, SQL, Oracle would be required to perform this role (4 yrs)
Responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering the technical features and requirements. Work closely with the development team, the business stakeholders, and the end users to ensure that the product meets the needs and expectations of all parties. Also oversees the quality, testing, and deployment of the product.
Roles & Responsibility
Create and maintain a product backlog that contains the technical user stories, tasks, and bugs that need to be addressed by the development team.
Write clear and concise acceptance criteria and specifications for each technical user story and task.
Prioritize the product backlog based on the business value, technical feasibility, and user feedback.
Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute the sprint cycles, review the progress, and resolve any issues or impediments.
Communicate with the business stakeholders and the end users to gather and validate the technical requirements, provide updates, and collect feedback.
Ensure that the product meets the quality standards, performance metrics, and security requirements.
Coordinate the testing, validation, and deployment of the product releases.
Monitor and analyze the product performance, usage, and feedback, and identify areas for improvement and enhancement.
Skills and qualifications
8-10 years of strong experience as a Technical Product Manager/Owner, specifically working in Telco/Satellite clients like DirectTV

A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, 15 years of work experience.
At least 5-8 years of experience in software development, product management, or a similar role.
Proficient in agile methodologies, tools, and practices, such as Scrum, SAFe, Jira, etc.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and projects.
High attention to detail, quality, and user satisfaction.
Experience with the relevant technologies, platforms, and frameworks used by the development team.
Certification as a Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Professional is a must
AWS foundation/Solution Architect certification is a plus.
