Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Fine Arts in Provo, UT, for a Dental Laboratory Technician.

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
• Pindex models and place pins in dies
• Saw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabrication
• Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
• Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
• Paint dies with proper number of coats of die paint
• Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type, and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
• Clean work area daily
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Detail oriented

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
• No experience required
