The Art & Drawing Teacher will lead after-school programming for one of our MIssissippi based charter school partners. We are seeking a passionate, motivated and creative professional that truly enjoys enriching the lives of young scholars.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Facilitate art classes that follow a social group work model

· Establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students

· Promotes positive character development in all youth

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in arts or education

· Must have prior performance experience

· Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

· Has the artistic ability

• Additional programming will arise with other NYEG partners once the candidate begins
