Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Utilize commercial cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness
- Conduct floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Clean carpets using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues related to floors
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment effectively
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Also being willing to travel is a must for this role.
