Caleb Brett: This team provides cargo inspection and analytical assessment to the world's petroleum, mining, minerals, and biofuels industries. The Additives Technician will support the Caleb Brett business and be a valuable member of our team. They will render additive injection services to customers who are timely, safe, legal, ethical, and effective; to perform the necessary calculations and documentation, which ensure that the customer receives an accurate and complete additive injection package. We're looking for motivated personnel, capable of thinking on their feet, and able to adjust equipment and the injection requirements as needed. To do that, they should have a mechanical aptitude and be able to perform calculations utilizing basic math and basic algebra. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills and can interact with team members as well as storage and refinery personnel. Here's What You'll Do On The Job:
Perform additive injections utilizing air and electric pumps
Perform manual tank additization at job site which can include tanks, vessels, rail cars, barges etc
Transport chemical and equipment to job sites
Perform inspection work as assigned in support of the organization's goals.
Operate a forklift to load and unload additives and equipment.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities What It Takes To Be Successful On The Job
Possess and maintain a valid TWIC Card
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a reliable driving record
Be able to acquire and maintain a class "A" CDL with all required endorsements
Be capable of handling heavy equipment/drums via forklift or manually
Ability to acquire and maintain a "class C" CDL within 90 days of your hire date, and a "class B" or higher CDL within an additional 45 days. Tanker and air brake endorsements are also required for the CDL.
You are required to retain the applicable endorsements as required for a job that includes a Hazmat endorsement.
