BGIS is currently seeking an Asset Logistics Technician to join the team in South Jordan, UT.The Asset Logistics Technician is responsible for tracking deliveries and inventory. Asset Logistics Activities
- Accept all hardware deliveries and manage asset status as it relates to the movement of assets in and out of the data center.
- Monitor the spare parts inventor and RMA (Return Merchandise) handling, packaging, and scheduling
- Audit asset status in data center daily.
- Work directly with other Asset Logistics Technicians and coordinate to support the asset integration and
- Support any additional efforts related to shipping and receiving as assigned by the Asset Logistics Lead or
- Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned
- Minimum two years proven experience in asset management or data center shipping/receiving.
- Experience in asset tracking or ALM (Asset Logistics Management) software.
- Strong attention to detail and extremely well organized with proven ability to work on several simultaneous projects and programs.
- Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to data center operations.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working in a team environment to provide support and excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
