We are looking to hire a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to provide a high level of customer service while working with our customers and Portable Power staff.

Duties

• Ship and receive all rental equipment daily.
• Answer incoming rental calls from our customers and our sales staff. Will coordinate with customers on project needs and timelines.
• Collaborate with customers to provide support and resolve any issues about new jobs and existing jobs.
• Create and return rental orders as well as upload all documentation into the computer system.
• Provide all freight quotes.
• Keep track of daily equipment tracking spreadsheet.
• Making sure equipment has all certifications needed to meet the customer requirements for shipping.
• After hour rental call which includes taking rental orders, dispatching technicians, parts sales and shipping/receiving duties.
• Additional duties as requested or directed by the manager.

Experience

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
• Microsoft Office knowledge and basic computer skills. Excel spreadsheet experience a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Skills

• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.
• Heavy lifting: Capability to lift heavy objects as required
• Facilitating communications between customers, sales staff and operations.
• Organization and Attention to detail.
• Data Entry.
