National Oak Brand is Hiring a Supply Chain Specialist Near Beach, FL

National Oak is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer in our West Palm Beach office. The Supply Chain Buyer performs a variety of duties to assure all of the right products are available at the right warehouse at the right time while obtaining the best possible price. They are responsible for ensuring materials are available to meet customer requirements, and constantly driving to improve the quality, delivery and cost of all purchased items. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·Maintain the procurement and/or replenishment process.

·Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner to assure customers’ order fill expectations are met.

·Create the orders based on supplier’s transportation and purchasing requirements.

·Analyze product supply and demand, supplier reliability and strategic distribution.

·Negotiate lowered pricing and maximize promotional buying opportunities.

·Evaluate order discrepancies.

·Communicate with Operations and Sales in regard to customer status changes.

·Communicate with Marketing and Vendors to identify promotional opportunities.

·Determine and execute strategic sourcing strategies.

·Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of paint, body and equipment (PBE) industry; warehouse and distribution experience.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance or comparable field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
