As a Pavement Consultant at National Pavement Partners you will play a vital role in driving our sales efforts by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and promoting our paving and asphalt services. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will learn and develop your sales skills while contributing to the success of our company.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities::Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Research and identify potential clients in the commercial and residential sectors.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking events.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
Client Engagement:
- Conduct initial client meetings and needs assessments including identifying and building project scopes.
- Present our asphalt and paving services in a compelling manner.
- Address client inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present accurate and competitive proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure proposals meet client requirements.
Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns throughout projects.
Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Provide regular reports to the sales manager on progress and performance.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Use market insights to identify new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes)::- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and customer service.
- Basic knowledge of asphalt and paving services (training provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
