Summary Of DescriptionDrawing on a firm foundation of accounting principles, the FP&A Analyst will utilize Excel, Sage Intacct, Power BI and other industry tools to analyze the company’s financial and operational performance, develop financial and operational dashboards and ad-hoc reports, as well as assist with short and long-term planning for the company.

- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with tight deadlines.
- Lead the company’s monthly budget to actual variance reporting.
- Meet with Regional Directors on a frequent and recurring basis to review budget to actual variances, update rolling forecasts and address or solicit ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Using feedback from Regional Directors, coordinate with Controller to facilitate improved accuracy of reported monthly financial statements.
- Review inventory and pre-paid accounts in relation to period cost of product as needed.
- Provide standard weekly reporting to investor and Board stakeholders.
- Actively participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Ad hoc financial or KPI modeling and analyses as needed (e.g., margin, volume/rate, sensitivity, scenario, payroll/headcount, fleet assets, etc.).
- Subject to experience and qualifications, assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Assist with maintaining the company’s accounting and ERP systems.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Travel to various regions to support branches; less than 10% regional travel, which may include overnight stay.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or Finance combined with significant accounting exposure)
- 5 Years Finance/Accounting experience
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Unequivocal working knowledge of financial statement content, structure and inter-statement relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with ability to clearly and simply explain and/or present analytical results
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours during reporting and budgeting cycles
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and CoPilot), with emphasis on Excel (including but not limited to: Pivot tables, V/H/X Lookups, nested “IF” functions often combined with AND/OR syntax, conditional formatting, data validation)
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
- Multiple-entity experience preferred
- Microsoft Power BI a plus
Environmental ConditionsGeneral Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.
Outdoor Service Environment: Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical RequirementsIf performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
At client locations: While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, kneel, reach with hands and arms, crouch, crawl, twist, push/pull, lift/carry on a regular basis up to 15 lbs. throughout the day, lift/carry occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., hand, eye, and foot coordination. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The ability to swim as this position may work near swimming pools.
