CFC has a need for a Financial Analyst II - Accounting to join the Accounting team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Financial Analyst II - Accounting is a highly visible role that will provide cross functional support across multiple teams and initiatives. This individual will perform financial analysis and provide insights to senior leadership on monthly results, forecasts and budgets, allocation and distribution of earnings, yield analysis as well as other strategic initiatives. 
As a Financial Analyst II - Accounting, you will:
• Provide support for the allocation and distribution of earnings to members, payments and internal ERP system.
• Maintain and update financial models as well as other financial data reporting.
• Prepare monthly operating expense analysis for management, managing large data files and associated financial reporting.
• Communicate with internal resources to develop monthly variance analysis of operating expenses and analyze reasons for the variances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, collecting data, calculating financial plans, requesting information, communicating updates and uploading data.
• Coordinate the yearly operating plans for CFC and our affiliates for presentation to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Update and maintain monthly dynamic financial models and assist in the preparation of forecast reports used in strategic decision making.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
To be successful, you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• 3 years of analysis or accounting experience.
• 3 years of analysis or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate financial statements.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work across the organization.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS-Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the skill to drill down and research issues.
• Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with Smartview or Hyperion / TM1 (not required).
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud.
