National Salvage & Service Corporation is an industry leader and a growing company. We need a Heavy Haul Driver to make deliveries throughout the eastern half of the United States.

Class A CDL is required along with Prior Heavy Haul Experience.

Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities: 

• Safely load and unload heavy equipment (dozer, excavator, loaders, ect.) onto trailers.
• Safely and efficiently transports heavy equipment to and from job locations in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Secure equipment with chains, tie-downs, etc..
• Follow Dispatch directions to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete all necessary truck logs in a timely manner
• Maintain clean, operable truck and trailer
• Valid CDL and Medical Card.
• Daily Pre-Trip / Post-Trip

Position Specific Competencies:

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Oversized experience a plus.
• Clean driving record.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Experience with stretch trailers and multi-axle step and RGN trailers
• Machine operating experience for loading and unloading
• Knowledge of state weight allowances
• Knowledge of state laws for oversize loads and pilot car requirements by state

Minimum Requirements: 

• Current Class A CDL
• Clean MVR and clean inspection record
• 5 years Commercial Driving experience
• 2 years Heavy Haul Driving Experience
• Pre-Employment qualifications and drug screening
