Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of an Associate Degree completed in Business Administration, Accounting or related area is required
• Bilingual- English and Spanish
• Minimum 2 years relevant.
• Ability to successfully resolve student issues from request through resolution.
• Familiarity with online learning and Internet technology a plus.
• Effectively work with multiple databases and student platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.
• Be abreast of changes in legislation, policies and norms related to the job.
• Ability to organize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for student success.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Guide and assist students regarding the financial aid offered by the Office of Financial Aid, their eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
• Support students in the process of completing and submitting their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online.
• Responsible for receiving duly completed documents and/or evidence presented by students, as required by federal and state regulations.
• Conduct preliminary evaluations of Financial Aid for students.
• Perform data entry of student information into the Campus Vue system.
• Work in coordination with the assigned Admissions Officer in the new student monitoring process.
• Verify and sign student forms for internal procedures as required.
• Collaborate in the review of student files to ensure that they have all the required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Follow up with students through, phone calls, emails, and letters to complete their files.
• Prepare weekly or as-needed reports on the follow-up.
• Generate, revise, and include the required documents in the Financial Aid file.
• Schedule the assigned Aid Program in accordance with federal and state regulations.
