The Tablet Press Receiving Inspector is responsible for performing in -process and final inspections on all new and rebuilt tablet presses before shipment. They are responsible for identifying and documenting all non-conformances and pointing out any build inconsistencies. The Tablet Press/Receiving Inspector will also complete inspections on incoming products in support of the inspection lead. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and possesses strong communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work with production to set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and set quality standards.
* Creating and submitting non-conformance reports.
* Creating and issuing Corrective Actions.
* Performing and documenting In-Process inspections.
* Monitoring and controlling test equipment.
* Perform incoming inspections in support of the inspection lead.
* Etch products with information specified in the engineering drawing in support of the production department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Possess strong working knowledge of measurement tools, such as: micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators.
* Must be familiar with the methodology of Root Cause Corrective Action Analysis.
* Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
* Must have strong working knowledge of QMS Systems and MS Office Suite.
* Must understand Form, Fit and Function
EXPERIENCE:
* 2 years of experience in production/manufacturing and quality assurance department using the criteria listed above.
