Job Title: Barista

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, and teas
- Operate POS systems to process customer orders accurately
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash-handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Assist in food preparation and handling when necessary
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the overall guest experience
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and staff

Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Experience with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food industry practices and standards
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Prior experience in food preparation or handling is a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
