As a team lead, you will be responsible for leading a crew in providing high-quality horticultural services, including plant installations, pruning, and maintenance. You will also be expected to maintain a professional image, promote a safe working environment, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is seasonal in nature, with the opportunity for snow removal work during the winter months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team in providing horticultural services
• Ensure the quality and efficiency of work
• Maintain a safe and respectful working environment
• Handle, load, and transport materials and equipment
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot problems
• Oversee the proper use and care of safety equipment
• Participate in the Snow Removal Program during winter months

Qualifications

Ability to lift

• Valid Driver’s License, preferred
• Experience and knowledge of annuals, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, trees, and ornamental/native grasses, preferred
• Experience using a variety of maintenance equipment, preferred
• Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background
• Good time-management and availability for long seasonal hours and weekend work

Compensation

Compensation for this role includes a competitive hourly rate, with an increased rate for snow removal work during the winter months.
