Nature’s Farmacy, in Jasper GA, is looking for full time on premise effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. You will strategize about inventory volumes and warehouse capacity to maximize productivity, rearranging stock for improved efficiency while allowing Warehouse Workers to easily navigate between aisles. You will track the supply chain and customer demand to dispatch 4-6 employees according to the company timeline.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Preparing schedules for Warehouse Associates, Plan work for employees, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Orient, coach, and motivate employees
• Training new employees on standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
• Monitor and Assure compliance with safety standards
• Monitor/Report on Time Delivery (OTD)
• Audit and report inventory quantities and submit Purchase Orders as necessary to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulatory requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
• Prepare and monitor annual warehouse budget
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies as needed
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Manage periodic physical inventories
• Participate in weekly management team meetings

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Certified Forklift operator
• CDL License preferred.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on decision making skills
• Experience with warehouse management software (NetSuite preferred) and databases
• Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff
• Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods
• Proven problem solving skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education

• BS, AS, or certification in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred
