NatureScapes is Hiring an Irrigation Technician Near Oconee, GA

Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing landscape irrigation maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This role is integral to our operations and plays a significant part in maintaining our reputation as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned property service contract requirements in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Ensure adherence to company maintenance production standards
  • Promote a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions or accidents
  • Use maintenance hand tools and other equipment safely and effectively
  • Complete and process all necessary job paperwork during site visits
  • Interact professionally with clients, account managers, and subcontractors
  • Train others on the job as needed and maintain a high level of morale
  • Perform start-up inspections and system shut-downs of irrigation systems
  • Perform basic troubleshooting techniques and make on-site repairs as necessary
  • Perform regular safety inspections on the vehicle

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in irrigation installation
  • Certified as Irrigation Technician (CIT), or actively working toward certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in basic math, verbal, and written communication
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Effective communication skills in English

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role requires full range of mobility in the upper and lower body, ability to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds occasionally. The work environment may involve strenuous work in adverse weather conditions, as well as exposure to dirt, water, chemicals, noise, etc.

Travel

The role involves daily routine travel from the main building to job sites in company trucks and back.
