Responsible for Manufacturing, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Co-Manufacturing and Supply Chain. ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Leadership Team, is responsible for developing the company’s strategy and talent agenda, while delivering company results not for the Operations area but also for supporting other functions/areas to deliver commitments.Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting and annual operations planning.Ensure execution of annual operational plan based on Company key pillars: Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Cost and ServiceRecommend and manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability.Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.Embrace our ESG commitment and BCorp, Fair Trade and EFI certifications, ensuring compliance not only with national and local business regulations, but also with the much higher standard we set at NatureSweet. Take appropriate action when necessary.Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.Cross-functional engagement, thorough understanding of the customer value proposition and what it will take for operations to deliver on it. Close collaboration between the operations functions and Quality, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to deliver a better customer experience and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.Lead development and embracement of new technologies that have the ability to help us live our purpose as a much larger company. Organization Required skills and qualifications.Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) and master’s degree.10 years or more years of experience in executive leadership roles as COO or VP of ManufacturingManufacturing experience in CPG food or Agricultural Companies is a must (at least 10 years) , having experience in Industrial companies is desirable.Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrityAble to build high performing teamsUnderstanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issuesSolid grasp of data analysis and performance metricsAbility to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.International business experience (US and LATAM, preferably Mexico)Bilingual (English /Spanish) Specific KnowledgeFood Manufacturing production, specific knowledge on produce industry is a plusLean ManufacturingFinancial knowledge (Budget, P&L, etc)Manufacturing best practicesEngineering Processes, Maintenance & QualityFood Safety Other:This position can be based in Guadalajara or Queretaro.Travel: Able to travel 40% of the time
