DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

Teacher responsible for student management and implementation of IEPs 

for students requiring social/emotional/behavioral support. The individual must have the experience and ability to collect and analyze data, write and implement IEPs, and skill instruction plans. Teacher will work collaboratively as a team in NRHS’ therapeutic (ILP) program alongside a school adjustment counselor, special education teachers, and general education teachers. A high degree of professionalism, passion for teaching and learning, highly effective communication skills, and demonstration of cultural proficiency is necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MA teaching license in Moderate or Severe Disabilities required
