MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Vocational / Specialized Training in a related field.
1 - 2 years' experience in Customer Services.
1 - 2 years' experience in Public Relations.
1 - 2 years' experience with electric, gas, water / wastewater operations.
Proficient in Microsoft computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook.)
Navajo speaking is required
Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor vehicle record review).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES :
Acts as liaison between customers and the Authority.
Contacts customers to investigate conditions and / or obtain necessary information for completion of requests for new service.
Represents NTUA at meetings with customers, consultants, contractors and other outside agencies at special project sites and update meetings.
Assists in preparation of proposals for new and existing contracts or makes cost estimates.
Visits customers within assigned territory, and handles engineering or customer service problems.
Communicates, and interprets customer service policies and procedures.
Prepares customer documents and determines feasibility for new services.
Coordinates the preparation of cost estimates with electrical, gas and / or civil engineers.
Receives requests for new utility installations.
Oversees the maintenance of customer complaint records and accompanying steps taken to resolve problems.
Provides service information to customers and ensures that they receive the best possible service.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
