Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command is Hiring an Utilities Engineer Near Corpus Christi, TX

What you need:

  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S is required
  • Proof of United States Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance

The skills/experience we want to see:

  • Developing and managing the utility maintenance action plan for Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization projects
  • Managing revenue and costs for utility commodities
  • Prioritizing utility projects to meet mission within annual budget constraints
  • Supervising proper operations and maintenance of utility production and distribution systems supporting military, industrial, and medical operations
  • Performing utility rate assessment analysis and recommending lowest cost energy source mix
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of projects to provide energy savings and resilience
  • Leading cybersecurity enhancements to operational technology in support of utility systems
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and across functional boundaries
