Naval Supply Systems Command is Hiring a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER Near Mechanicsburg, PA
DutiesSummaryYou will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the Ordnance Information System division (SUP 06) of Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).
RequirementsQualificationsYou must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a mastery knowledge of a wide range of management principles, theories, and processes sufficient to provide expert qualitative and quantitative program analysis and provide technical and administrative supervision to a subordinate staff. You have demonstrated experience applying a mastery knowledge of the theories, concepts, principles, and methods of Information Technology management including system design, implementation, maintenance, and modification to support technical refreshes and current modernization initiatives. You have experience developing and disseminating technical direction, guidance, policies, and procedures necessary to manage and execute Ordnance Information System (OIS) program projects. Specialized experience includes performing the following: 1) Provide guidance to subordinates and subordinate supervisors to formulate work plans for the accomplishment of assigned tasks, and determine resources required for completion; 2) Develop, disseminate direction, guidance and procedures, and monitor technical work as performed by the OIS project team to ensure work is executed in accordance with established objectives and time frames; 3) Review and approve proposed OIS deployment execution plans; 4) Manage the overall execution of the OIS budget for the command; 5) Provide program advice and guidance to OIS support staff within the command and customer organization participating in testing and development.
