We are growing our team! We are looking for a Survey Office Technician/CADD Technician to join our team in Dover, DE.

In this important role, you will prepare construction drawings utilizing software for land development projects. Additionally, you’ll contribute your design ideas and solutions while maintaining the QA/QC of construction.

Schedule:

Full-time – 40 hours a week.

Salary Range:

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Broad range for the position is: $30.00 to $35.00 hourly.

Job Responsibilities:

Summary: Import survey data files, plot record property data, plot record highway plans, label features, create a digital terrain model, create an alignment, create cross sections, create profiles, create title blocks, compute points for stakeout, work with feature lines, and understand what to do when a standard does not exist. This includes both Bentley and Autodesk applications. Preparation of various proposals as assigned.

• Familiarize and become proficient with current CAD software and standards used while performing drafting assignments, as well as future adaptation to any modifications to the current CAD standards.
• Learn and utilize Company and Survey Department filing systems to maintain files accordingly for paper and/or digital data.
• Learn and utilize methods for uploading, downloading, and importing field data with TBC into a CAD file.
• Complete drafting assignments within assigned deadlines and within budget allocated per each assignment.
• Preparation and attendance at meetings, if required.
• Expected to be capable of performing the duties of subordinates and function as a Project Manager in their absence.
• Various tasks including performing record searches of properties, easements, right-of-way; plotting of property record data (deeds, plans, etc.); preparing property mosaic and Right-of-Way related tasks; boundary resolution; and, plotting/reviewing road alignments and associated geometry.
• Be capable of performing the functions of your subordinates and function as an Office Manager or in their absence.
