What You Will Do :Guidehouse is seeking an Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to support a complex project providing technical and advisory services to the Department of State. The candidate will support various threat divisions in tracking, analyzing and reporting on various exposure work. You will work as part of a larger cross functional monitoring and evaluation team, support technical/management meetings working alongside the team and client.
You will have the opportunity to interact with the clients' senior management and to enhance your skills in the areas of client service, technical competency, and business development, especially on issues related to US national security. Day-to-day, you'll support client deliverables, often concerning various National Security threat actors, to include internal and client deliverables and presentations, day-to-day project logistics, and special projects as the need arises.

What You Will Need :- An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree
- FOUR (4) years of relevant experience in open source intelligence
What Would Be Nice To Have :- Top Secret Clearance
- Experience working with the Department of State
- Understanding of programs focused on mis/disinformation
- A high-quality combination of some interests, skills, and experiences related to:
- Open-source data sets (e.g., domestic and foreign corporate registries, shell companies, sanctions lists),
- Open-source tools/software (e.g., big data analytics, SCRM tools, GIS software),
- Social media platforms and aggregators (e.g., Weibo, WeChat, VK, Facebook, Twitter, Gab, Sprout, Brandwatch) for analysis purposes,
- Syndicated or API-accessed databases (e.g., S&P, Bloomberg Law),
- Coding languages (e.g., R, Python),
- Visualization software (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau),
- Other technology (e.g., natural language processing, web-scraping techniques),
- Cyber threat intelligence
- Deep & Dark Web, encrypted apps (e.g., TOR, Telegram)
- Specialized niche skills/knowledge (e.g., software billing of materials, counterfeit parts)
- Experience in an international setting
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills; capability to clearly and succinctly define problems and outline solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with technical writing or report production
- Language skills in Russia, Mandarin or Arabic
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
