Position: Operating Room Nurse
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 3 Months

Duties:

This is the pay range that RightSourcing (a part of Magnit) reasonably expects to pay someone for this position. However, as a supplier, your expected pay range may vary and/or include certain benefits such as:

Pay Range : USD 41.71 hrly - USD 56.68 hrly

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrub and circulating duties in the operating room.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Administer conscious sedation as required.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical team with positioning and preparation of patients.
• Anticipate needs of surgeons and other team members during procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Required :
  • Two years of operating room experience, including scrub and circulating roles.
  • Proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
  • Experience with conscious sedation.

Education and Certifications:

• Required :
  • New York State RN License
  • Primary Source Verification
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • IV/Phlebotomy experience
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Certifications & Licenses:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN License (New York State)

Language Requirements:

• English : Must be able to speak, read, and write proficiently.

Minimum Degree Required:

• Associate's Degree from a Community College (or equivalent MBO)
