Position: Public Health Program Specialist
Location: Jefferson City, MO

Shift: 8:30 am - 4:45 pm (includes a 60 min break)
Department: General Stores - 808075

Additional Details: This is an 8-week assignment to support the General Stores operation at NYP Weill Cornell Medical Center. The role requires onsite work with the possibility of remote work up to 40% of the time. Safety shoes (steel toe boots) are required, and scrubs will be provided. Reporting location is at 512 E 71st loading dock, Annex building room 007, asking for General Stores.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and organize incoming stock shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
• Transport materials and equipment within the medical center as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in stock handling or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
• Flexibility to work beyond regular hours based on operational needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
