Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Unit Name: Respiratory Therapy

Shift Details:

• Shift: 12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week
• Shift Type: Nights

Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Respiratory Therapist will contribute professional knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the respiratory therapy process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all age groups.
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of respiratory experience; NICU experience required.
• Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Licenses: Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist license at the time of submission.
• Experience with all age groups is necessary.

COVID-19 Policy:

• Travelers must be COVID vaccinated. Medical and religious exemptions are provided upon request.

Local Candidates:

• Locals accepted if the residential address is within 60 miles of the facility, with a 10% pay reduction.

Compensation Details:

• OT/Holiday Multiplier: 1.25x
• Non-Billable Orientation (NBO): 8 hours
• Overtime Billing:
  • For 36-40 hrs/week: OT is billed after 40 hours.
  • For 48 hrs/week: OT is billed after 48 hours.

Profile Requirements:

• Work History/Resume: Must be included.
• Home/Taxable Address: Must be listed in the profile (e.g., resume, notes section).
• Skills Checklist: Must be completed within one year of submission date.
• License Verification: Required.
• Copy of BLS (AHA) or ARC: Required.
• References: Highly preferred (if not provided, will be required during onboarding if the candidate accepts an offer).
