Position Summary:

The client is seeking an experienced Systems Software Programmer to join our team onsite in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex applications and business intelligence solutions. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical Specification Translation: Convert functional specifications into detailed technical specifications for programming solutions.
• Application Development: Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain customized Microsoft .NET applications using SQL Server databases.
• Release Management: Manage development and release using multiple code branches in Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS).
• Programming: Develop applications using C#, .Net, ASP.NET, Microsoft Framework 4, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, MS SQL Server, MVC, WCF, WEBAPI, Entity Framework, nHibernate, and the latest Microsoft Technologies (.NetCore1.0, Mono, etc.).
• Geocoding Applications: Utilize Google map APIs and other geocoding applications in development.
• Workflow and Routing: Develop solutions that incorporate workflow and routing processes.
• Web API Development: Implement Web APIs and develop WCF application servers.
• ORM Frameworks: Utilize ORM frameworks such as nHibernate.
• Frontend Development: Work with AngularJS, jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, and MVC for frontend development.
• Imaging Toolkits: Program using imaging toolkits like gdPicture.
• Version Control: Manage code, branching, and releases using TFS/Git.
• Reporting: Generate reports using SSRS/Active Reports.
• Form Builder Applications: Develop and maintain form builder applications.
• Security Implementation: Implement role-based security systems.
• Architecture Solutions: Develop solutions using 3-Tier Architecture.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders and team members to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure data needs are met.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation.
• Communication: Develop and present complex materials effectively to various audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: Establish and maintain good working relationships with team members, agency representatives, external representatives, and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science degree in an Information Technology related field is preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in translating functional specifications into technical specifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with customized Microsoft .NET applications and SQL Server.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps/TFS for development and release management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with the following technologies: C#, .Net, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, MVC, WCF, WEBAPI, Entity Framework, nHibernate, .NetCore1.0, Mono, Google map APIs, and geocoding applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in workflow and routing, and developing WCF applications and Web APIs.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with version control, branching, release management, and code management using TFS/Git.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience generating reports using SSRS/Active Reports and developing form builder applications.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience implementing systems using role-based security and 3-Tier Architecture solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience creating technical documentation.
