Description:

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care for patients according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care using specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills appropriate to the physical and developmental needs of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' condition and response to treatment.
• Plan and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments and nursing diagnosis.
• Evaluate the outcomes of nursing care and modify plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience - REQUIRED
• Comfortable taking Med Surg patients on the Telemetry unit - REQUIRED
• Stroke experience listed on the resume at each facility where experienced - REQUIRED

• Skills Checklist (current within 1 year)
• RN license (must be active)
• Certifications (must be active at time of submission): NIH Stroke Scale (completed via NIHStrokeScale.org), COVID vaccine (declinations not accepted)
