Duties
  • You will provide inventory management, supply management, and analytical program support to the Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport.
  • You will assist senior level employees and supervisors to initiate, develop, schedule, implement, and monitor options to solve problems in materials management.
  • You will perform audits on Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions and coordinate and track actions required as a result of internal/external audits.
  • You will compile, analyze, and evaluate various supply operational statistics, including performance metrics per the Reimbursable Memorandum of Agreement.
  • You will monitor Supply Chain Management operations, procedures, and processes over inventory management, material management, inventory control requisition, warehousing, receipt processing, receipt inspection, and material storage.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • You will be required to possess a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to obtain a Forklift/MHE license and/or certification within 90 days of appointment and maintain thereafter every five years until age 60 and annually thereafter.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 pay band (GS-5/6/7/8 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
A master's or equivalent graduate degree.
ORTwo full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
ORLL.B. or J.D. degree that is related to the position being filled.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
