Duties
  • You will support the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles.
  • You will provide logistics oversight and Life Cycle Management for technical issues regarding the twelve IPS elements.
  • You will provide leadership, oversight and guidance on logistics management, technical data, logistics support analysis, acquisition logistics, supply support, and software support.
  • You will have input to Program Management in support of managing cost, schedule and product support performance.
  • You will develop logistics acquisition documentation, provides input to other acquisition documentation, and determine the acceptability of contractor prepared logistics deliverables.
  • You will resolve technical or procedural deficiencies based on system readiness and life cycle cost data analysis.

  • This is a designated drug testing position. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to a hostile area or CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program requirements; providing support solutions; developing acquisition and logistics documentation; assisting in life cycle cost analysis; material management; obsolescence management; OR reviewing program technical data and readiness data.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Logistics Management Series 0346 (opm.gov)
