Overview

Support Talent Acquisition business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports. Analyze business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other HR business units and their analytics team members to synchronize data projects and uphold the integrity of Talent Acquisition data.
  • Review current reports, identify gaps and efficiency gains.
  • Building for self-serve, e.g., putting data in Power BI or adding to the reporting already built off Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
  • Tapping resources such as peer teams, expanding on existing work that needs updating.
  • Enable the team and leaders with dynamic views and dashboards.
  • In partnership with HR Technology, participate in, test, manage, and/or administer configuration changes in SAP Fieldglass, Oracle HCM, and emerging services; maintain role of TA technical consultant on HCM features and track decisions around configuration and design.
  • Respond to break/fix demands by reviewing, solutioning, and updating transactional errors related to data integrations, e.g., within Oracle HCM/Fieldglass data integration or Oracle HCM/Talemetry integration.
  • Provide technical perspective to change management- and training-focused contributors to ensure broad understanding of solutioned responses.
  • Build outcome-oriented dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) that combine internal operational metrics with external data, e.g., industry hiring metrics to gauge effectiveness and to identify and enact predictive hiring strategies.
  • Build risk dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, SAP Fieldglass) from scratch and/or with templates to monitor pipeline volume, process deviation, and regulatory compliance; build cost dashboards to monitor enterprise contract labor spend, vendor service value, and cost of hiring.
  • Provide thought leadership in data space; liaise with data stewards, craft data definitions, contribute to maturity of Talent Acquisition's data strategy.
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
  • Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
  • Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives.
  • Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance.
  • Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests within the business area
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
  • Assist with ad hoc request and reoccurring requests.
  • Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts
  • Lead small projects and initiatives
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and how data is ingested into those reporting tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle HCM and SAP Fieldglass
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), and/or Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP)
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization within Talent Acquisition/HR
  • Advanced skill using business intelligence applications and/or cloud services
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors
  • Advanced skill using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
  • Advanced skill in complex data manipulation across multiple tables
  • Effective data integration, cleaning and validation skills
  • Experience working with stakeholders and gathering stakeholder requirements
  • Skill communicating data analysis and visualizations to nontechnical and senior audiences
  • Research skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate skill in utilizing work products to tell a story through appropriate balance of visualizations, design aesthetics, and words
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or related field
