Job DescriptionNawrocki Smith LLP is currently looking for a part-time or full-time detail oriented professional as a bookkeeper for our Emerging Business department servicing our clients located predominantly in Long Island.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain financial information from clients and banking institutions
- Download financial information and import into QuickBooks and QuickBooks online
- Data entry of financial information into QuickBooks and QuickBooks online
- Record invoices, payments and track accounts receivable using QuickBooks
- Properly records and check accuracy of information provided
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Reclassify incorrectly posted information
- Perform other data entry and administrative duties as deemed necessary
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience in public accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
- Fundamental knowledge of cash basis and accrual basis of accounting
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
