Nazareth is hiring an Assistant to the Director of Technology. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this role is assisting the Director of Technology and assisting the tech team in providing faculty, staff, and students with the tools and support needed to meet their educational goals. The assistant is a key technology staff member who will ensure a positive experience when using Nazareth Academy technology.

Qualifications: 

• Experience in a school setting is preferred

Core Responsibilities

• First responder to assist teachers in classrooms with technology issues. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting functions in classrooms, and offices when needed. Ensure clean, productive working environments and resolve problems or escalate, as appropriate.
• Assist in maintaining the Nazareth Academy website when the Technology Director is not present.
• Proactively respond to trouble tickets by providing accurate answers and solutions to common questions and problems, and escalating all other issues as appropriate to ensure a prompt and positive resolution for the end user. Communicate best practices and solutions with technology team.
• Assist with hardware rollouts, maintenance and reclamation. 
• Assist with software rollouts.
• Assist in maintaining, adding and removing of user accounts in all cloud-based services. 
• Assist in maintaining Google Workspace.
• Assist in maintaining the wireless infrastructure and Ruckus ZoneDirector management system. 
• Handle RMA requests for failed technology.
• Assist with on-site third party support service technicians.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings and be an active part of the Tech Team.
• Act as first-level support for faculty, staff and student technology issues, including wireless, hardware, software, printers and copiers. 
• Act as contact for multiple parts, services and support vendors.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Nazareth Academy Technology Director.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist in support of business equipment.
• Assist with Student user and password management. 
• Act as a backup for when the Technology Director is not on campus.
