Job Description:

As the Lead Driver/Operations Manager at Junk King Naples, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our junk removal services. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of junk removal specialists, and maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent driving abilities, and a commitment to upholding our company's standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of drivers and haulers to execute junk removal assignments efficiently and safely.

- Plan and coordinate daily routes and schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.

- Drive company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport junk items to appropriate disposal or recycling facilities.

- Provide guidance and training to team members on proper junk removal techniques and safety procedures.

- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

- Ensure that all junk removal activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and environmental standards.

- Perform routine maintenance checks on company vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.

- Assist with loading and unloading junk items as needed, demonstrating proper lifting and carrying techniques.

- Seek out opportunities to grow business-to-business relationships and engage in other marketing initiatives

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the transportation or waste management industry.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly.

- Familiarity with Naples and surrounding areas is a plus.

- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence.

- 25 years or older for insurance reasons.

Starting salary: $20 an hour (up to $27 an hour with tips)
