Facilities Supervisor

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the buildings throughout the N C Machinery - Alaska.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Periodic inspection of all buildings is made and all repairs taken care of in a timely manner.
• Responsible to see that company vehicles are serviced properly and kept in safe operating condition.
• Operation and maintenance of building systems: heating, cooling, electrical, compressed air, water and waste.
• Write spec sheets and obtain bids for major construction and purchases.
• Evaluate bids. Keep building and yard costs on budget.
• Supervise contractors in building and janitorial services.
• Respond to calls from security patrol, alarm Company, and law enforcement agencies.
• Make random door and lock checks on weekends and holidays
• Ensure all facilities are compliant with the ADA.
• Responsible for purchasing and installing all truck mounted equipment.
• Experience in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC, and irrigation system.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with vendors.
• Equipment is checked and serviced at regular intervals.
• Work closely with the Product Support Manager.

Qualifications:

• The Facilities Supervisor needs to demonstrate a high level of teamwork with all departments and Business Units.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Experience with building maintenance is preferred.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and leadership skills. PC skills are required with experience with Microsoft Office and general office equipment. Travel and overnight stays required to branch stores.
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state driver’s license required
