NCCF is Hiring a Clinical Social Work Supervisor Near Greenbelt, MD

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the clinical supervisor is to provide clinical oversight, consultation, and supervision in the CFSA SAFE Haven Re-design contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provides trauma informed clinical individual and group supervision.

· Maintains a consistent therapeutic program by conveying clear treatment philosophy through effective supervision, the maintenance of program standards and professional practices.

· Functions as a senior member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team in developing individual treatment plans and intervention strategies for working with clients.

· Ensures appropriate documentation and reviews all court reports and treatment plans.

· Ensures compliance with contractual regulations with COMAR and CFSA benchmarks.

· Acts as a liaison between National Center for Children and Families and other agencies providing services to clients.

· Provides orientation and training of new clinical social workers, family wellness workers and family support workers.

· Ensures all youth achieve permanency in an expedited manner and to develop a system to address barriers to permanency.

· Lead and motivate a team serving diverse and highly vulnerable children/ youth and their families under stressful and differing circumstances.

· Monitors the creation and maintenance of records for all conferences and reports.

· Provides crisis management consultation to the case management team.

· Provides monitoring of follow-up services to families and assigns professional staff to assure family plan is successful.

· Monitor Coordination of Family Wellness Team Meetings and facilitate Family Team

Meetings when needed.

Minimum Position Requirements:

· Broad working knowledge relative to the needs of emotionally disturbed, victimized, learning disabled, delinquent adolescents and their family systems.

· Masters degree in Social Work and an active LICSW license.

· Knowledge of adolescent development.

· Demonstrates cross-cultural competencies.

· An attitude comparable with the goals and missions of the NCCF.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The employee will be responsible for driving to and from client’s homes. The position may also require that the employee transport youth. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required y this job require close vision working with a computer monitor. While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the responsibilities of the employee’s job, these work environment characteristics are representative of the environment the employee will encounter.
