Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals
- Administer a wide range of therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities
- Utilize specialized equipment and modalities to facilitate the rehabilitation process
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
- Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of physical therapy through continuous education
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in various physical therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions
- Strong ability to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Class/Area: Physical Therapist
Pay Rate: $1,610@35hrs weekly
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 35
Shift and Time: 8:00am-04:30pm
Experience required: Minimum of 2years
License Required: NPTE License
Certificates Required: BLS
