We seek compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our Youth In Transition School as an Academic Support Staff. As an Academic Support Staff, you will provide support and assistance within our school setting, helping our students learn and gain independent lives. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in someone's life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily academic activities.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Implement individualized care plans and document progress.
• Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
