Job Title: VTC Recruiter – Full-Time Department: HJH Vocational Training Center (HJH VTC) Reports To: Program Director of Vocational Training Center FLSA Status: Non - Exempt General Purpose Of The Job: Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the Vocational Training Centers, with specific supervision from the Program Director of the Vocational Training Center. As a Recruiter, your primary responsibility is to attract, engage and recruit prospective students for various vocational training programs the center offers. Your role is instrumental in ensuring a diverse and motivated student population that seeks to acquire valuable skills and knowledge through vocational education, preparing them for successful careers in their chosen fields. Essential FunctionsEssential Duties And Responsibilities:
Student Outreach and Sourcing:
Represents the HJH VTC to targeted constituencies; community activist organizations, State, City, and Federal agencies, Veteran organizations; State circuit/district courts, etc.
Speaks to organizations, counselors, administrators, and/or other constituent groups to promote the HJH VTC.
Develops and implement strategies to reach potential students, including high schools, community organizations, online platforms, and career fairs.
Collaborates with local educational institutions to establish partnerships and attract interested students.
Applicant Screening:
Coordinates as a point person for internal coordination of participant recruitment and registration assessment process; enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria, and eligibility determination and deadlines.
Student Engagement and Follow-Up:
Maintains regular communication with prospective students to address inquiries and concerns and keep them engaged throughout enrollment.
Data Management:
Prepares reports and proposals regarding recruitment and outreach activities and responds to participant and collaborative agency inquiries.
Marketing and Outreach:
Creates packages, monitors, and distributes resource materials for recruitment and the HJH VTC training programs.
Strategizes opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts and implements identified strategies.
Keeps updated on industry trends, labor market demands, and changes in vocational education regulations to improve recruitment strategies.
Suggests improvements to the recruitment process for enhanced efficiency and candidate experience.
Complies with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Associate of Arts or Science degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in Business or Human Services or equivalent work experience is required.
At least two years of recruiting experience is highly preferred.

Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid non-provisional driver’s license from state of residence and acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by Agency’s insurance carrier and by Agency policy.
