The Education Project Manager will assist the Content Team with oversight of the content team on specific administrative tasks and project management relevant to our development and maintenance of educational content. The Education Project Manager will intake the content requests (revisions or new development), meet with stakeholders to determine the roles and milestones on the project, and then create the project plan. They will also hold the team accountable to the deliverables and completion of the project successfully.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads Discover Meetings with stakeholders (Instructors, Instructional Designer, Content Specialist, Client) to plan and coordinates the release of content-related projects for the Institute.
• Prioritizes projects and tasks against changing schedules and deadlines
• Creates the content project plan and assigns tasks and projected hours to the team members
• Manages weekly project workflow - ensures each team member has enough hours for the week.
• Maintains accurate versioning for over 27 Institute classes and 50 private programs.
• Creates and maintains content mapping to ensure changes made to one content is implemented everywhere the content lives.
• Evaluates deliverables from each team member before they move on to the next team member, to ensure objectives were achieved.
• Makes recommendations on ways to increase work efficiency on the content team.
• Evaluates total hours for each content project against return (revenue produced). Makes recommendations on ways to increase return on investment.
• Proactively plans administrative changes on content such as updating studies, benchmarks, etc.
• Leads debrief meetings with instructors to assess if additional changes are necessary for the content - creates additional plans as necessary.
• Keeps appropriate project team members informed of status, delivery issues, and other areas as needed.
• Work collaboratively with fast-paced cross-functional teams to solve complex issues, set goals, track deliverables, and report out.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however, requirement may be satisfied with equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 years related work or industry experience.
• Strong time management skills.
• Superior ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of CRM/databases, Salesforce.com a plus.
• Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and change management skills
• Multitasking skills paired with prioritization abilities
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
