The primary purpose of this position is to remove household pests, termites and rodents from properties, and perform any exclusion or other services to the property to keep these pests from returning. The Technician will also be responsible for conducting inspections and providing quality protective treatments while delivering 5-Star customer service.

The Technician will be responsible for working outdoors in the elements and will be expected to work in extreme heat and cold as well as lift heavy objects. The Technician will also be expected to work independently, and will be trained and required to know how to use and understand all necessary equipment, communications and software used for the continued control of pests.

The Technician will be responsible for identifying the specific pest problem, selecting and mixing commercial-grade materials for the continued elimination of pests. They will be expected to work closely with the Operations Manager, and other team members, in order to ensure that all tasks are completed on time, and in a safe manner. The Technician will also be trained or cross-trained in providing Wildlife Control services.

Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

• High School Diploma required; four-year degree a plus.
• 2 years’ experience in the pest control industry required.
• Construction or handyman experience a major plus.
• Military or job-related experience also accepted.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Service-minded, motivated, and an independent self-starter.
• Able to communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services required to meet customer needs for a complete pest and wildlife management program.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with office staff, Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leads on a daily basis.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Flexibility in job duties.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete our award-winning paid training and learn the skills required to be responsible for the daily operation of a service route.
• Safely dispose of and clean up after removing nuisance animals.
• Keep all equipment and tools clean, organized and safe.
• Keep assigned company vehicle clean and safe, inside and outside at all times.
• Follow an assigned route schedule, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s residence or business.
• Detail oriented – follow instructions carefully in order to prevent harm to residents, pets, the environment and themselves.
• Accurately complete and submit all required service-related documentation.
• Be a team player who is willing to help others in order to complete tasks successfully.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
