Job Description:

Shift: 1st shift

NCW is currently searching for a detail-oriented Industrial Field Technician in the Lafayette area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience performing remote visual borescope and CCTV on-site inspections. Excellent opportunity for a military veteran.

Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site inspections (Industrial).
• Operate and maintain company equipment.
• Manage customer communications in a professional manner. Assist in providing on-site demos, walkdowns, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED , or 3 years of experience in military/industrial/mechanical setting accepted.
• Degree with a trades-type background.
• Prior Visual Testing certification preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret equipment manuals and drawings.
• Prior Borescope/NDT Field experience preferred.
• Sound mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight, generally in stints of a few days at a time, both driving and air travel.
• Ability to work in standard industrial and construction settings (Scaffolding, Confined spaces, Inclement weather, etc.)
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office, with cloud-based and smart-phone applications.
• Must pass a hair follicle pre-employment drug screen going back 7 years, as well as random drug screens and other fitness-for-duty tests.
• Must have a clean driving record going back 7-years and pass pre-employment and regular criminal background checks.
