NCW is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician and an Industrial Facilities Maintenance Tech for immediate hire in Liberty, NC. In these positions you will perform preventative maintenance (mechanical/electrical), troubleshoot, and repair several types of tractor/trailers, and off-road equipment ensuring that equipment meets or exceeds all DOT and OSHA Regulations prior to operating.
Job Duties:
Maintain and coordinate all electrical maintenance to include repairs and preventative maintenance. (Electrical Maintenance Technician)
Troubleshooting PLC parts, switches, buttons, starters, photo eyes, etc. (Electrical Maintenance Technician)
Fix or repair hydraulic systems (valves, pumps, cylinders, and motors) air systems, chains, and sprockets, electric motors and gear boxes, stick welding of various thickness of steel and working on bearings and shafts (Industrial Facilities Maintenance Tech)
Perform Task to fix or repair items that need daily repair.
Maintain complete and corrective maintenance documentation
Adhere to all company safety and operational procedures and policies
Other duties assigned as necessary
Qualifications:
Minimum one (2) year of experience in mechanical/electrical equipment maintenance and repair
Must be skilled in Diagnostics, Electrical, Air Brake Systems, and HVAC
Knowledgeable in Voltage 480, 277, 240,120, 24, 12, and 5. (Electrical Maintenance Technician)
Physical ability to work extended hours standing, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting
Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Communication skills verbal and written
Ability to work as a team member
