As a Manufacturing Application Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting sales engineers and customers in the pre and post application sales process. Up to 50% of the SG member’s time will be programming, which may be done in our office or onsite at customers depending on the application requirements.

• Some evening or weekend work may be expected to meet deadlines or urgent customer driven support demands 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering or relevant experience 

• 2-4 years of experience in automation

• Experience with PLC, HMI, industrial computer, industrial communication and I/O, robotics, sensors, safety, machine vision, and industrial motion control products required 

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Knowledge of system design and development is a plus
