Nebraska Methodist Health System is hiring for a full time nights Security officer at Methodist Women's Hospital in Elkhorn, NE. The Security Officer is responsible for enforcing policy, providing assistance and direction, responding to emergencies, and providing protection to personnel, visitors, and property to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Locations & Schedule:

Methodist Women's Hospital

• Friday-Tuesday, 10pm-6:30am

Salary:

• Starting pay of $16.50 and increases based on work history/experience
• Evening, Night & Weekend Shift differentials

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent experience preferred.
• Certificate of Threat Pattern Recognition (TPR) required within 1st year of employment.
• Certificate of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required within 1st year of employment.
• 2 – 3 years previous Security experience preferred.

License/Certifications:

• Valid and current driver’s license with no more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents within the last 3 years required.
• Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (CPR/AED) not required, but preferred within 6 months of hire with annual training.
