Organic Search Manager
Nectar is the leading Employee Recognition and Rewards platform striving to build amazing company cultures around the world. Be our first Organic Search hire responsible for increasing organic search traffic to our website and other content, building pipeline by generating thousands of leads annually, and ultimately helping us reach our revenue goals.
Duties you will love to do:
- Be a marketer first and foremost, know our target audiences and how to connect with them
- Develop, execute, report, and repeat content promotion strategies
- Communicate wins and data and train internal departments and external partners on SEO best practices
- Stay on top of new trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices
- Recommend on-site SEO best practices and work with others to get them live on our website
- Update our landing/web pages with SEO-optimized content
- Monitor keyword ranking performance and identify key traffic opportunities
- Lead and manage outreach efforts as needed
- Monitor all of Nectars brand across listings and media mentions
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into our content strategy
- Work closely with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with overall marketing goals and campaigns
- Manage all aspects of technical SEO, including site architecture, page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup to ensure search engines can effectively crawl and index our content
Minimum Qualifications:
- You have at least 3 year(s) of experience knocking SEO out of the park
- You LOVE to win--and win big!
- A savvy communicator
- You'll have ideas and a vision of our organic growth that are even bigger than our own
- You're the go-to pro when it comes to outreach SEO best practices
- You know relevant data analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, etc.)
- You have the ability to cut through large data sets in order to identify key traffic opportunities and recommend them
- You have a working knowledge of HTML
- You know how to juggle multiple timelines, prioritize projects, and see them through
- You can communicate effectively and build relationships with team members
- Website CRO experience a huge plus
